comfortableRodgers goes deep early; Warren does everything in a 34-22 Steelers win
Aaron Rodgers needed exactly one drive to break this game open, hitting Jaylen Warren for an 80-yard touchdown less than six minutes in — a plus-0.202 win-probability swing on the game's first real punch. Pittsburgh never trailed again in a 34-22 win over Indianapolis.
Rodgers finished 22-of-31 for 235 yards and three scores with a 125.1 rating, and Warren was the whole show: 101 rushing yards with a 50-yard touchdown run, plus six catches for 87 yards and that 80-yard house call. Pat Freiermuth caught two more touchdowns, because the Steelers' tight end tradition demands its tribute.
Indianapolis deserves a strange kind of credit: Spencer Shrader kicked five field goals — from 57, 56, 22, 40, and 28 — accounting for 15 of the Colts' 22 points. Daniel Jones threw for 267 yards but never found the end zone. When your kicker outscores your offense's touchdowns five to zero, you're not competing; you're participating in a field-goal exhibition.
