nail biterChiefs score twice in 19 seconds; Raiders’ rally dies at 30-27
Las Vegas did everything right. The Raiders led in the fourth quarter, outgained Kansas City 437-399, and had the full recipe for the upset of the week.
Then Kenneth Walker III scored two rushing touchdowns 19 seconds apart, and the recipe caught fire. Nineteen seconds. That's not a collapse, that's a magic trick — now you see a lead, now you don't. To their credit, the Raiders answered with a touchdown and a two-pointer to get within three with 1:46 left, which made the ending dramatic instead of embarrassing.
But 106 seconds wasn't enough to undo 19 seconds of chaos, and that's the thing about playing Kansas City: you don't have to be worse than them. You just have to be worse than them for nineteen seconds. The Raiders were better for 59 minutes and 41 seconds. It wasn't enough. It's never enough.
